Thx for all the emails

Hi everyone,

Sorry it's been so long since I've written in the blog, but I've been really busy working on other projects plus still trying to get a broadcaster on board plus I had to travel to Phoenix to help my mom with my stepdad. He just had an emergency triple bypass. Everything is well and he's back at home after only 5 days in the hospital.

I want to thank you for all the emails I've been getting. Everyone is anxiously waiting for the show to be broadcast and waiting for an announcement about when it's going to air. We're still waiting to find a home for SexAbility. We don't expect any movement before Christmas, but we know there will be some in Jan. As soon as we hear we'll be sure to let you know.

So, what's new? Well, since there's so much excitement for what we're doing, two people have approached me to help us with the broadcasters. Erin from Australia has offered to help us with the broadcasters there and Cory has offered to help us with his connections here in Canada and the US. Oh, and on the plane from Phoenix to here in Edmonton, I met a guy who has some connections in Germany. He's going to use his connections to generate some interest there. So we have a few more people helping us to get this show on the air. Yay!

Public Screening Nov. 9 in Edmonton

The Pilot has landed!

Hi guys,

We saw the pilot last night and it was awesome! I think you're going to love it. I don't know how to explain it other than it's educational, informative, sexy, inspirational, erotic (tastefully) and everything I hoped it would be. I think the broadcasters are going to love it and I can't wait to hear what their reactions are. I also think people watching it are going to find the content compelling, interesting and will want to watch more.

I am so happy that our guests were so willing to open up their lives in this show and it amazes me how awsome our show guests are. Their stories are so touching and inspirational and real. The show is about real people with real challenges and how they overcome them.

The show is about people with disabilities who want to have awesome sex and they do just like able-bodied people. And in some cases they even have more satisfying sex because they have to focus on it more than able-bodied people do. They don't take sex for granted, they see it as a fun and exciting challenge and something they deserve to have.

I'm very excited about the show because I think it crosses the boundaries and shows more than most shows would show. This show demonstrates people with disabilities having sex and talking about sex in a very tasteful way. Like Dr. Shaniff says, "where there's a will to have sex, there's a way".

The Pilot is Done!!!!

The pilot is done, we finished it this week and now we're ready to approach the broadcasters. Yay! We're really happy to have it finished and are ready to proceed to the next step, finding a broadcaster who wants to show it. We have a few broadcasters wanting to see it, so we're happy about that. We're approaching different broadcasters all over the world.

My sex-starved friends

This is the first post that isn't going to be about the tv show. It's about my sex-starved girlfriends. I have 3 girlfriends who have married men who won't give them sex. Yes, that's right, the husbands don't want sex. I don't know what it is with these men, it's either they don't like sex, or maybe they're gay. I don't know, but my poor friends are so frustrated that they don't know what to do. And I don't know how to help them. One of my friends is so frustrated that she's extremely close to having an affair. She told me that at one time she went 2 yrs with NO SEX! What! I couldn't imagine going that long with no sex. And the thing is, my friends are very attractive and gorgeous women. If they were single, they would have no problems getting men, but because they're married, they don't want to hurt their marriage by having an affair. And all of them have been in their marriages for over 10 years and of course there's kids involved so they don't know what to do. They're torn between their kids and marriage and their sex life. Two of them asked me "Is sex a big thing or a little thing?" "Am I being selfish because I want some sex in my life?"

My other friend said she's not going to go through life without getting any sex. She's going to give him an ultimatum. Why don't these men think sex can be fun? They don't want to experiment and try new things and meanwhile my girlfriends are getting so totally sexually frustrated because they're getting close to 40 and they want to have some sex, any time, any place and I just think that most men would just love to have a woman who is so sexually charged. I don't get it. Wait until they see our tv show and how some of these guys who can't move from the neck down are having the best time of their lives. They love sex and keep telling me that sex is all about pleasing the women and if their women are satisfied, so are they. But my girlfriends just happen to marry these men who don't even want to try & have fun with sex. They can't get their husbands to even open up their minds to how frustrated their wives must be and how desperately they want it to change and their husbands just think that they're asking too much by wanting to have a good sex life. Two of my friends said their marriages are perfect, other than the one missing thing - SEX!!!!! I feel so guilty, I have a great sex life, it's the other areas in life I need to worry about. Ha! I don't know what to do for my friends - I know, I'll make a tv show out of it.

We're done shooting B-Roll and ready to start editing

Hi everyone,

We're done filming the B-Roll tonight and then we're going to start editing the pilot. It should take us another couple weeks and the pilot will be ready to sell to the broadcasters. Doing the b-roll has been an awesome experience. Our guest stars have been very willing to open up their lives and show us a sneak preview into their sex lives. We have been very honoured to find such open and willing people. We're looking forward to showing you the pilot.

Our one guest is a quad and has been in a wheelchair for 25 yrs. He openly shows us how him & his wife get intimate in the shower, in the sling and in the bedroom. The action is hot hot hot and you won't want to miss it!

Our other guest is a single hearing impaired lady and she shows us what it's like to go on a date with her and how she communicates with a hearing date. You won't want to miss the action she gets on that date!

Our third set of guests is a young unmarried couple. He was a male exotic dancer who's life evolved around his hot body, then when he had a car accident on the way home from a show and became a paraplegic in a wheelchair, his life changed. His sex life with his girlfriend (who is still with him) is changing and still very satisfying. We also found out that Jamie loves to take pictures of beautiful girls and he gives us a preview of some of his awesome photography.

We can't wait to finish the pilot so we can get it to the broadcasters and get it on tv. We'll keep you posted. If you're interested in being a part of a research study, pls get in touch with us. The University wants to do a study with this pilot and we need some people (abled and with a disability) to be a part of it.

We're done the interviews

It's been crazy this last couple weeks. What have we been doing? Lots. We did six different sets of interviews. We interviewed a single deaf lady, a couple where she has MS and he has a brain injury, another couple where he is a quad and has been in a wheelchair for 25 yrs plus another couple, he was in a car accident 2.5 yrs ago and is a paraplegic at 29 yrs old. We also interviewed a lady who sells sex toys and she has a lot of clients with disabilities and also a lady who teaches sex classes. We also interviewed Dr. Shaniff Esmail from the University who is a PhD and teaches sexual health classes.

I've had the hardest job of all, typing all the interviews so that we can do the story edits. Whatever you do, don't ever volunteer to do that job. lol. Oh well, I might be grumbling about it, but it's also a great job because I get to hear each person's interview and it always amazes me to hear their stories. I am really looking forward to putting the show together. I am so amazed that we have such amazing guests who are willing to speak so openly and honestly about their experiences about their lives and especially their sex lives.

There's going to be some amazing stuff come out of this show and I really feel it's going to help educate the world.

Anyways, I have to get back to typing. I have 2 more to do and I have to have them done by Thurs before Shaun goes on holidays. Once he goes on holidays, then he's going to work on the story edits and when he gets back we're going to shoot the b-roll and edit the show. Talk to you later and have a great week!
